TRAVEL : bus from Vista Flores - 8 buses a day.
A 14 ha. organic farm with fruits and vegetables. The main crop is apples, from which we make juice. We make preserves of almost everything, and sun dry fruits during the summer. Almost everything we eat comes from our gardens and orchards - we bottle/ preserve fruits and veggies. Also the seeds to grow these things come almost entirely from last years crop. We're located very close to the Andes, so day and weekend trips to the mountains are possible.

We work in the farm with a flock of 13 sheep and we use the land rotatively for pasture. There's a big vegetable garden and plantations of fruit trees and berries (on a surface of 1500 m2) and we incorporate all years new crops. The farm is 9 years old and we combine there animal and vegetal production. Daily activities will be 6 hours per day and we will offer organic food from the farm (you will have to prepare it) and lodging in exchange for your work. We eat animal- and vegetal-derived food and drink alcohol only occasionally. Please write us at least a month before coming. Please bring your sleeping bag. We also work locally in collaboration with organizations dedicated to education, culture and local development. We are a family with three teenage kids and we´d like to host volunteers interested in organic agriculture, sustainable practices and alternative productions. Description: The farm is located in a small valley on the eastern slope of the Andes Mountains in Patagonia, Argentina. We utilize the BioIntensive method of farming and have been greatly influenced by the works of John Seymour regarding sustainable and self-sufficient farming and living.
Currently we have Jersey milk cows, Scottish blackface sheep, beef cows and horses. All of these animals are sources of food, fiber and manure. While the farm is not vegetarian, the goal is to encourage less dependence on a meat based diet, thus fostering a more sustainable circle of fertility.
The farm is located in the Rio Azul Protected Wilderness Area allowing easy access to a variety of outdoor activities: trekking, kayaking, rafting, horseback riding, and mountain biking.
Although vegetable garden work (bed prep, planting, maintenance, harvesting) is the primary task to be fulfilled, the following work is potentially available at varying times throughout the year: planting, harvesting and preparing grain to make bread; food preservation (drying, canning, etc); preparation and use of medicinal herbs; trail building and maintenance and various other general farm maintenance tasks. We welcome Wwoofers who would like to share their knowledge and skills with us while they are here. Individuals trained as yoga teachers, massage therapists, chefs, veterinary technicians, organic gardeners and people with a social media background are especially welcome.
Requirements: the requirements will vary for each individual and will be determined on a case by case basis. Generally, Woofers work 5 days per week, 6 hours per day. The days and hours are staggered to cover all work. Smoking is not allowed on the farm because of the extreme fire hazard in this area.
Accomodation: We are currently able to receive no more than 6 persons at a time. Wwoofers live in a rustic cabin with 3 shared upstairs bedrooms, bathroom with shower, kitchen and living area with gas stove, oven, refrigerator, electric clothes washing machine, wood stove for heat, and front porch with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. There is always plenty of hot water and Wi-Fi (you’ll need to bring your own laptop).
Food: We provide the following food: white and whole wheat flour, white and brown rice, oatmeal, polenta, salt, sugar, yeast, cooking oil, potatoes, carrots, onions, milk as available from our cows and other veggies as available from the gardens. We supply toilet paper, laundry detergent and dishwashing detergent. The kitchen is pretty well stocked with basic cooking tools.

Para el pastoreo usamos tambien el terreno de nuestros vecinos en rotacion.Estamos involucrados en las actividades de una escuela waldorf del pueblo cuyos chicos vienen periodicamente a hacer huerta y sembrar trigo. Tambien participamos de un grupo de medianos y pequenos productores del sur de la pcia. de Cordoba y de un grupo de estudio de biodinamica de la zona. En casa vivimos la familia ( nosotros dos y nuestros 3 hijos :Mika(16) Gabriel(15) y Mayra (13)). Diego sale alrededor de una semana al mes para dar cursos y algun pequeno asesoramiento y poder sostener la economia de la familia.Elaboramos varios de nuestros productos y vamos un dia al pueblo a venderlos. La granja esta a 4 km. del pueblo.
Accomodation: Tenemos un cuarto independiente para algun pasante. Esta fuera de nuestra casa , al lado del establo y tiene un pequeno bano con ducha. Podemos albergar a dos en el mismo cuarto.

Nuestro objetivo actual es intensificar el manejo de la lombricultura (actualmente en funcionamiento) y ampliar la practica hacia el compostaje. Disponemos de una casa con varias habitaciones para albergar voluntarios. Tambien tenemos un amplio galpon, gallineros, etc. Buscamos personas interesadas en estos temas y que fundamentalmente posean un profundo respecto y amor por la naturaleza en todas sus formas.

The farm is located about 15 kms from the turistic city of Tunuyan. All that the city has to offer is within easy reach, like the shopping area, supermarkets, hotels, hospital, etc. We are working in a project to create a holistic organic farm/retreat center with a program based on spirituality and respect for animals, nature and environment. The farm is located in seven hectares of beautiful land which are located near the Andes mountains in a rich soil area which is suitable for the growing of apples, pears, cherries, grapes, tomatoes and more. It has an old adobe house. We offer a splendid natural scenery to stay. Use of organic fruits and vegetables from the farm. Fresh mineral water. Simple accommodation. Free Buddhist teachings, meditation, yoga, natural cooking. Also in the area you can practice outdoor activities like hiking, trekking, biking. We are looking for people with knowledge/skills in organic farming, construction, permaculture, carpentry, ect...etc... as well as people who can put their whole hearts to this project. Accomodation: We offer a tipi (teepee) for volunteers; the tipi area is equipped with gas stove and water and outdoor shower. There is also the option for camping. We receive up to 4 volunteers at a time.

The farm is nestled in a wine - olive area. You can do bike tours around the wineries. Also fruit and flowers, making it also a major tourist attraction. Our intention is to create a place that is in balance with the habitat, respecting all (insects, plants, animals, water, soil and air) that surround us. Inspired by permaculture ideas, we are currently experiencing natural building in clay, using only resources of the place. We started our first very small organic garden and we have also introduced some alternative energy such as solar cooking and cool box. We currently have a dry toilet. We have drinkable water. We have no electricity at home, so we use a car battery to power a lighting system with very low consumption (high efficiency LED lamps) as we develop our energy self-sustainability. We have our summer snail shower, and we have not yet installed a hot water system but we're working on it. We would like to share our learning and our experiences with anyone with similar ideas to ours. We want to invite people who are willing to share with us the construction of this project, to become self-sustainable for educational purposes. The place is very nice and quiet. There are many birds and wild animals (foxes, rabbits of the fence, rabbits, lizards, insects, etc).
Accomodation: The place has an old adobe house of more than 100 years which is under restoration. We have a room with bed for wwoofers. Two volunteers for now.
Food: We try eating as varied as possible, eating as much as possible the fruit and vegetables in season. We are very demanding about the origin of our food. Description: Our main source of income and activity is our Restaurant. We have a pond where breed fish and we also have a certain amount of sheep, horses, chickens. We believe that volunteers will like our place because we offer an environment where volunteers can learn about our culture from an optical naturist, where there is a genuine caring for the environment, where our structures are made using local materials industrialized least possible. We work with mud, sticks, straw, reeds, etc. We only accept wwoofers with health/trip insurance.
Accomodation: The house for volunteers is 28 square meters. It has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and a kitchen dining room. Electric light, cold and hot water. We can receive up to three volunteers at a time. All bedrooms have beds. We have pictures of the house if they wish.
Food: We prepare together lunch and dinner; we provide the food which may be meat, vegetables, fruits, fish, etc.

Description: Our aim is to create a multicultural environment to provide people from all walks of life with a healthier and more natural experience. Main activities involve Macrobiotic Cooking, as well as Natural Building, Chi kung, and the good use of energy and renewable resources. We have an organic vegetable garden and an orchard, produce bread and every year we plant native and fruit trees. We are located 60 km from Buenos Aires. By train, or bus is 1 - 1/2 hours. We are are glad to reiceve volunteers to share our choice of life. Requesting volunteers with interest in natural farm, natural building(adobe and wood) and renovable energys, we can share macrobiotic cooking, and would like to share your knowlege.
Accomodation: We have a room with two beds, camping is also optional. 2 wwoofers.
Food: mainly macrobiotic food, we can cook toghether under matias guidance. We do not use meat, but we will respect wwoofers if they choose to do so.
We are: a young couple(matias and mariana), and friend Juan Pablo with Piggy (his beautiful pig)and cat and dogs, in future, chickens, and sheeps.
