ARG087- Tim and Caroline - Visited the farm on May 10th, 2010
We are Tim and Caroline Kent from the UK, and have been Wwoofing with Maud since 10th May, 2010. Maud has a beautiful finca in Cafayate, which itself is a lovely town. The work we have done here has been as varied as it is enjoyable. This has included helping with feeding the animals, gathering walnuts,helping with wine production, doing some carpentry to fix gates, clearing space around the rocket plants and gathering mandarins and oranges, amongst many other things. The farm is not just organic but also very much sustainable. Much of what we eat comes from the finca, and almost all waste is completely reused. The house we are staying in is very comfortable and homely, and is kept very warm at night with a big wood stove in the living room. Our bedroom is great and there is a fantastic hot shower. Best of all without a doubt is to be the guest of Maud, who has been incredibly kind, helpful, fun, warm and welcoming. This is the first time we have Wwoofed, but I couldn't have imagined anything that more perfectly fits the wwoof ideal for the programme and for ourselves.

Somos Tim y Caroline Kent del UK, y hemos estado Wwoofando con Maud desde 10 Mayo 2010. Maud tiene una finca linda en Cafayate, cual su mismo es un pueblo hermoso. El trabajo que hemos hecho aqui ha estado tan variado como ha estado divertido. Ha incluido dar ayuda alimentando los animales, juntando nueces, ayudando con la produccion de vino, haciendo carpintero arreglar puertas para los gallineros, limpiando la tierra alrededor de plantas de regula, y juntando mandarinas y naranjas - entre muchas otras cosas. La finca no es solamente organica pero tambien es muy sostenible. Mucho de lo que comemos viene de la finca, y casi todo el huerto esta re-usdao completamente. La casa en cual nos quedamos es muy confortable, y esta mantenido caliente las noches por un fuego grande en el living. Nuestra habitacion es excelente, y hay una ducha caliente fantastica. Mejor de todo sin duda es estar un huesped de Maud, quien nos ha ayudado mucho, y ha sido muy muy divertida, caliente y amable . Este es el primer tiempo que hemos wwoofado, pero no hubiera podido imaginar algo que es mas el ideal de wwoof para la programa y para nosotros mismos.
